CONNECTING AND INSPECTING SOLAR POWER SYSTEMS ACCORDING TO THE STANDARDS

Solar-Inspector is indispensable for the electrician connecting and inspecting solar power systems. The standards are taken as the starting point for Solar-Inspector. The Solar-Inspector course consists of Solar-Electrical I, Solar-Electrical II, Solar-Inspection and an exam that demonstrates that you master the material. You will be included in the Solar-Register and you will have the right to use the Solar-Inspector logo (for example on business cards, website and van).

Solar-Inspector covers:

  • Solar-Electrical I (1 day)
  • Solar-Electrical II (1 day)
  • Solar-Inspection (1 day)
  • Exam (Location: Reeuwijk) (half a day) *

* The Solar-Inspector exam last approximately 3 hours. In the invitation you will find the exact time at which you are scheduled to take the exam.

Module 1: Solar-Electrical I

PROPERLY CONNECT OF SOLAR POWER SYSTEMS ACCORDING TO NEN1010 AND OTHER APPLICABLE STANDARDS

We take NEN 1010 and related standards and the grid codes as the starting point for connecting a solar power system to the grid.

Solar-Electrical covers:

  • Installing in accordance with NEN 1010 and other applicable standards
  • Connecting DC and AC
  • Distribution boards
  • DC cabling and connectors
  • Earthing

Module 2: Solar-Electrical II

ESSENTIAL FOR ELECTRICIANS CONNECTING SOLAR POWER SYSTEMS.

Solar-Electrical II is the continuation of Solar-Electrical I.

Solar-Electrical II covers:

  • Elaborating Solar-Electrical I: electrical properties PV system
  • Suitability of existing distribution boards
  • Cable cross section calculation AC and DC
  • Integration with lightning protection
  • Fire risks
  • Specific applications
  • Common failures

Module 3: Solar-Inspection

PRACTICAL INSPECTION AND MEASUREMENT ACCORDING TO STANDARDS

Solar-Inspection is a continuation of Solar-Electrical. You will be taught how to inspect a solar power system according to the Dutch and international standards, and how to locate faults. An elaborated report– to be used in your own projects – is part of the training.

A maximum of 8 participants, which means a lot of personal attention!

Solar-Inspection covers:

  • Inspection standards in daily use
  • Using specialized measurement equipment and interpretation of the results
  • Recording inspection results in a report

Module 4: Exam Solar-Inspector

SHOW THAT YOU ARE ABLE TO INSPECT PV SYSTEMS ACCORDING TO STANDARDS.

After following the courses Solar-Electrical I, Solar-Electrical II and Solar-Inspection you can take the Registered Solar-Inspector exam. With the exam you show that you have mastered the material well and that you can independently deliver and inspect PV systems. You have 3 hours for the total theory exam. In the invitation you will find the exact time at which you are scheduled to take the exam.

If you pass the exam with a pass, you will be entered in the register and you will be entitled to use the Solar-Inspector logo (for example on business cards, website and car).
